Software privacy notice
Local processing and third-party API processing are distinct. This notice describes product and license data; the company website has its own privacy policy.

Scope and responsibility
Hidawn LLC sells Montagist and xStudio paid licenses and operates this static website; website request and company-mailbox handling are covered by its website privacy policy.
Montagist
Montagist combines cloud account and AI-assisted workflow services with local media processing and video rendering on the customer's Mac. Account identifiers and the creative inputs necessary for online steps are handled by those services. Prompts, source content or narration text needed for AI and speech are sent to the selected providers; remote media search sends the customer's search terms to video archives and platforms, some from our servers and some from the customer's Mac; downloads run on the Mac, the downloaded footage stays there, and the cloud keeps only text about each clip, such as its source address and length. Selected local media is processed on the Mac; the cloud receives the necessary opaque material references and workflow metadata. Locally rendered media can remain on the Mac unless the customer chooses a workflow that sends it elsewhere.
xStudio
In the first-sale research/writing edition, imported text, drafts, candidates, preferences and application logs are primarily stored in the local PostgreSQL database. Configured AI providers receive prompts and needed content. Workspace login uses the configured authentication provider. Direct X publication, metrics, automatic source collection and marketing automation are disabled; an optional reference URL is stored without fetching its contents. Local operation does not mean that authentication, AI or license-renewal inputs stay offline. The changed build is undergoing verification.
Orders and licenses
Stripe processes checkout and card information; Hidawn LLC receives the order ID, purchase email, name, amount and payment status, and uses them to deliver and support the license. When the paid edition is activated, the order/license service stores the necessary account identifier, product, environment, payment order/event identifiers, order/license status and installation bindings. This website collects no card details and runs no checkout code; the Buy link opens Stripe.
The local software uses a random installation UUID and signed license token. The token contains an opaque account subject, license/product/version/environment, installation ID and issue/expiry times. Renewal sends the token and installation ID to the controlled issuer. Model, X and Telegram keys and local drafts are not required by the license issuer. The local package contains public verification keys, not merchant secrets or the issuer's private signing key. Signed tokens are private bearer material protected by signature and local file permissions; they are not encrypted or anonymous records.
Retention, access and international processing
Customers control backups and deletion of their local files and database. Deleting the remote order account revokes licenses, but financial order/event, license and installation records can remain, including stable account UUIDs. These records are not fully anonymized. Uninstalling or deleting a local login does not delete all remote financial records or backups. Account, order and tax records must follow the seller's and Stripe's applicable retention duties.
Provider calls may process data in other countries under those providers' terms. Before using a provider, review its data handling and send only content you are authorized to process. For access, correction or deletion questions about a purchase, use support@hidawnllc.com.
